Greetings!
Had a mishap with my Maz 18 Jr NR head this weekend, now I'm not getting any sound output at all. Thought maybe one of you smart folks could steer me in the right direction as to what might be wrong.
First of all, I run my Maz through a 2x12 cab (V30/G12H) at 8ohms. I went to turn it on like any other day -- the power lamp turned on for a half-second, and then the whole amp went dark. Okay, probably blew a fuse, I thought. Sure enough, the 2amp fuse had blown. I replaced it and tried again. Upon powering up the second time, everything looked fine -- the power lamp lit up, tubes glowing -- but I had no sound at all, no speaker hiss, nothing. I tried a different cab, all connections, etc. -- nothing.
Any thoughts/recommendations? Thanks so much!
Bryan

You could have more fuses inside the amp - I have no experience with Maz Jr or any Z-amp yet - so I can't really say. Ask the Mike Z him self for tips from the "horses mouth". Cheers: Dixiechicken

Most likely a rectifier tube. If not, a power tube, but change out the rectifier first.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Turns out, the 1/2 amp fuse was blown as well as the 2amp fuse. Replaced it and am good to go!

If you keep blowing fuses than you should check rectifier tube. Watch the tube when you power up. If it has a miniature lightning storm inside the glass than it needs to be changed.
