Has anyone here tried a treble booster (Crispy Creme, Germania, Rangemaster, etc.) with their Maz Jr? I'm considering a Germania just for something new and would like to hear your impressions. Thanks, Gary

I have a Germania which sounds incredible with my Maz 18. I prefer it with the full range boost by far over the treble boost. It really captures the old Clapton tone and is one pedal that really makes the amp feel so responsive. Can't go wrong. Go for it. I promise you won't regret it.

Well there are two different versions. One has the Mullard chip in it. Other than that they are the same. They have a switch on top which will switch from a treble boost (just boosting the highs) to a full range boost, boosting all frequencies. I find the treble boost position (They call it Lo-Fi) too narrow or focussed but I love the full range boost position (Hi-Fi). Here is info and sound clips on the site: www.homebrewelectronics.com/products.htmand they're cheaper here: www.musictoyz.com/guitar/pedals/home.php

I use a Beano Boost with mine. Running a modern American Tele and a PRS McCarty doing the classic rock thing. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the first time I plugged in and turned that thing on, a big smile appeared on my face!

I had an Addrock Boostmaster that worked good to juice up my Z, worked good in Full Boost and in Treble Boost mode.

I have a G&L ASAT and Les Paul Custom so it sounds like I'll have good results based on your experience.

I run a beano boost into mine as well and I leave it on when playing my lp standard.. it really really gets the sweetest "breakup" sound ever! Its a must have pedal in my chain.

One guy is complaining about "ice pick highs" and another guy wants to boost treble! Can you two trade amps?
