It has been a long while since I have posted, so bear with me...
I have - as aforementioned - a Maz 38 SR reverb head with effects loop, built on 7-11-2005 that I bought brand new at Rock Block Guitars in Nashville,TN in August or September of 2005. I also bought a Dr Z 2 X 10 open back cab with Dr Z speakers.
I played all over Nashville, specifically Broadway, for years with this setup. I have documented over the years how it has been the finest amp I could imagine on these forums (search my post history). It has been through all the rigors of playing and transporting and held up 100% of the time, save for a bad tube or two.
I called the support line at Dr Z today for some information on my amp, and I just want to shout out to Don in the shop to thank you for your time and advice.
Dr Z amps are truly an heirloom company. As I have stated before, this amp will be in my will, because I will never sell or trade it.
I am not a great or well known guitar player, but I have been fortunate to play with some great players. And Dr Z has helped me get there.
So...to anyine who wonders about these amps or long term longevity....the quality is impeccable, and the service is...well..even better.
Just a long winded thread to say thank you to Z.

I could not agree more. I have a maz 38 that I traded a newer amp for several years ago. The maz was several years older than the one I traded. The maz is my go to amp and it seen a lot of gigs through the years and never failed me once. Got the update and 1/2 switch mod done a couple years ago. I take good care of my amps and service them myself, change all the tubes once a year and carry the amp which is in a studio combo cab in a studio slips clamshell cover. Those covers are a godsend and has shielded my amp from a couple of instances that could have caused major damage, but amp came out with nary a scratch. I have other DrZ amps which I liked, but still have my Maz 38 and I will never part with it. Just could not be happier with the product, service, this forum etc. Hope Doc continues until he doesn't want to anymore. Jester
