Hey all,
Yesterday I blew another EL84 in my MAZ38 SR reverb. It's the third JJ EL84 that broke, the other three EL84's are lighting up, but the fourth one isn't. I own the amp for a year now, never really gigged or did long rehearsals with it. Does anybody know what could be wrong?
I'll be glad to hear from you guys!

Are you replacing individual power tubes when they blow or the whole set? How old are the tubes, and is it the same tube position each time?

Not trying to assume but it sounds like you are not replacing all the tubes with a matched set. If you replaced the initial failure with a tube that isn't matched, this will cause the others to potentially fail as well. Furthermore, the initial failure could have taken a screen resistor with it, which will continue to cause other EL84 to fail. I would get a new matched quad of power tubes and then follow the troubleshooting procedures:

I haven’t replaced the whole set, but all the EL84’s I’ve used are rated 25 mA.
I can’t remember if it was the same position, I should write that kind of information down…😅
I’m just gonna take it to my tech. I live in Europe, so the Z factory isn’t an option for me.
