Last night I left my 1974 Super Bass and my Marshall 4x12 at home because my other guitarist in my 90s Rock Alternative cover band wanted to downsize and bring his HRD and use his Friedman IRX live last night so I brought the Z Wreck Jr w/ my pedalboard.. Everything is micd up running through a professional PA and all my rhythms and volumes down for cleans was so freaking awesome but I had a disagreement w/ the sound man about overall guitar volume so u know who eventually wins that fight. Anyway, the sound that I wasn’t happy with was when I took a solo and by using either an Archer, Trutone Clean Boost or a Paisley drive, it seemed without an effects loop that I am used to having via a Fryette PS2 and with another guitar player in that mid space, my solos didn’t cut.. I love the Z but I am not sure it will work due to the boost being more compressed than say bumped.out front.. I guess the reason for my post is, I am open to any and all suggestions to help me solve this issue so I keep the Z Wreck Jr because the dirty rhythms and cleans are great. My setting are everything but bass @ 1 o’clock (bass 10) and master I honestly can’t remember but dude had me practically at bedroom volumes it seemed because the other guy had the HRD at maybe 3.. At any rate, what are other guys in two guitar bands using to boost your solos if not using an ex Loop?

From your description, you may be pushing up against the headroom available in the amp. If so, then hitting the amp with more signal from one of your drive pedals will give you more saturation rather than a large volume lift for solos. That Pedal Show (TPS) on YouTube has several helpful videos on this topic.

I think ^^^ is correct, but I would try an EQ Pedal for your boost. You may just be able to boost frequency to get what you want. I also don’t know what your Volume/Gain Settings are on the amp, but pulling back the gain and bumping the volume will give you more headroom. It’s all a give and take good luck.

I’m almost ashamed of my last post. Two other options are to just use the Fryette that will give you the boost option you want AND if your using the Combo with a Greenback, swap it for a Creamback or another higher wattage more efficient speaker. That will also get you headroom for boosting.
