Hi all,
Does anyone have a guess, or better insight 😀, on when the x-ray may be released?
I missed picking up a used EMS, and I’m looking for a Dr. Z with some Plexi vibes. The new Caz-45 is a little more than I’d like to spend. Hoping the X-ray may fit my needs….but would love you thoughts on how long I may need to wait.
Thanks! W

I understand it will be somewhat of an updated/reimagined Stang ray?
Here’s a link to a video preview:

What is the X- Ray going be ? OK let me shed a little light on the X Ray. The amp head you hear Adam playing is an earlier design with two cathode biased EL 34's and it was labeled the X Ray at the time. This amp with a new name will be available some time next year. The currant developed X Ray is my spin on a StangRay MKII, PPIMV , 1/2 power on the front panel, and tube driven Effects Loop. Its release has been delayed . It is just too difficult to release two models at the same time ( i.e. Z 80 & X Ray ) . So I put my money on the Z 80 which is an extremely difficult amp to build and get right. it seems I did make the right choice do to the excitement the Z 80 has generated so far. Z
