Hi,
i'm Jurgen from Germany. I just purchased a used MAZ18 with a 2x12 cab in red from a guitar shop in Hamburg. What can i say: AMAZING Amp. I'm a Fender guy but i was always watching for different sound. Found it with the MAZ18.
The Amp was for years in a Studio and not on tour. I think it still have the first set of tubes. Now i want to change the tubes and ordered a full set.
The manual saying no bias setting nessecary. Just put in a matched pair of JJ EL84. Is it that easy and do i have check anything else?
Cheers Jurgen

That’s really about it. Plug the tubes in and jam away.

Welcome, Jurgen.
There's a link in my "signature" below to a spreadsheet with a lot of MAZ settings people have suggested over many years. I found it very helpful when I got my first Z, a 2 x 10 MAZ Jr with reverb. Still own it.
