I just found out about this and ordered the CD on the spot. Check out this smokin' version of "My Old School".
He's an amazing player (and mind), and sounds better than ever.

I saw a Rick Beato video about My Old School. Skunk built his Strat that he used for the recording the day before the session. He worked at a guitar repair shop. The guy is an amazing player.

I met him years ago when I was working in a local music shop and he was out promoting an Epiphone signature model. I asked him how he got the nickname "Skunk", and he said he was "saving that for the book". So, I still don't know the answer...lol.

I heard back in the '70s that he got that name because of how bad his feet smelled...
