Well I made a bid on a z wreck jr the other day. The auction ended the next day. I didn’t figure my bid was high enough, even though I was the high bidder when I placed it. Well I forgot to check it, and then suddenly got a notification that I needed to pay for it. It should be here tomorrow. Can’t wait. It will be joining my caz-45 as my other z amp. Then I have an Egnater boutikit I built a couple of months ago, a Dumble style amp built by a local builder, a Mojotone 18w tmb, and several others. My first cabs I’ll try are a barefaced uprising 212 with Creambacks, a trm 212 with greenbacks, and a brown soun 212 with tone tubby alnico reds. I’ll let y’all know how it goes.

Super cool! Hope the amp is in good shape, but at least you know you can contact Z repairs and they'll make it like new if need be. Sounds like you have plenty of cabs to mess with. And the egnator thing, I have something similar in the SW45. It's cool too.... but I never play that one either.

And the egnator thing, I have something similar in the SW45. It's cool too.... but I never play that one either. Well it arrived today and was packed with extreme care. Plugged it into my barefaced uprising 212 with m65 Creambacks. It was glorious. I was using my PRS SE Paul’s guitar. It’s a little on the warmer “less bright” side of things. But even with that it had some really nice harmonic top end. And even with the gain cranked, and the master volume up enough it could hang with a drummer, it was near silent when I stopped playing. I was super excited about that. On some demos I have noticed a little background noise. I won’t say there isn’t any noise, but it is much quieter than some other high gain amps I’ve had. And honestly their noise was never a problem. Anyway it was pretty warm in the shop, and kind of late, so I’ll have to do some experimenting with other cabinets some other day. But so far I’m very happy.
