Anyone have experience with purchasing tubes from Sweetwater? I'm looking at buying a matched duet of EH 6V6's, but am a bit hesitant as there is a 'no return' policy, and the tubes apparently have no tube spec info with them that you'd usually get when purchasing from a dedicated tube seller.

I would email your sales rep and see what he says. I'm sure if you got a defective one, they'd replace it.

Thanks for the suggestion, Adam, but I've decided against purchasing tubes from Sweetwater. I have a $50 credit with Sweetwater and that's what got me thinking about buying tubes from them, as I will shortly need a pair of 6v6's. But, I'll be able to use my credit on other gear from Sweetwater.

Don't forget that you will get candy with those tubes! But, I would go to a verified certified tube tested vendor. Good call!

Good call! 10% off sale thru July 6 >> tubesandmore.comkc I think, but can't remember for sure that in one of his videos, Doc said he was getting at least some of his tubes from Tubes and More/Antique Radio Supply. An amp maker is looking for reliability and good pricing. I find their prices decent compared to others and if they're reliable enough for an amp manufacturer, it's good enough for me.
