(PULLED AUDIO FILE _ NOT READY FOR PRIMETIME)
Rotten
He grew up in the suburbs somewhere, learned to love weed and style his hair. Listening to Floyd, Zappa and Yes, How he'd turn out was anyone's guess.
Went to school and got a degree,
Now he works for the man and he'll never be free. Dreams, Dreams, Lost and forgotten. It's all that's left when it all Turns Rotten
Dreams, dreams, lost and forgotten The only thing left when it all turns Rotten.
Home from work, **** mood. Have a drink, sit and brood. What are his goals? Has he reached them yet? I don't think, he's just swimming in debt.
I'm not gonna bore you or try to implore you. I'm not gonna tell you this is something it's not,
all i'll say is, at the end of the day, is all your dreams may fade away.
Dreams, dreams, lost and forgotten The only thing left when it all turns Rotten.

It's cool when the instruments come in. Nice & Tight! Actually, the opening gets you to wondering what's coming next. And, then Boom!
I like the production giving it a dream feel to support lyrical content. The Ghia sounds nice. Nice dynamics to hitting the quiet part in the 2nd half before hitting the chorus again and then rocking the outro.

Yeah. the intro audio is a processed piece of audio i pulled from a video i recently found of myself trying to come up with a chord progression for the words very early on. i never used the chord progression and a lot of the words are different in the final version. when i found the video, i instantly knew i was going to manipulate the audio and tag it to the beginning of the recording. it's supposed to be like a dream state that then slides into the song. Boom!
the whole idea started with one song where i use a bicycle bell in the intro when we play live and it morphed into "how can we use sounds to introduce each song on the cd". of the 10 tracks, i think we have audio intros for 5 of them.

another one. the intro audio is a processing of two traffic signs at the real intersection of Harrison and Division streets in Olympia, WA. the band's name, The Harrison Division, was a play on both Joy Division and fact that one of the most famous Oly bands, Sleater-Kinney, are also named after a street in Oly.
these are both just rough mixes at this point. any thoughts or constructive criticism is welcome. (PULLED AUDIO FILE _ NOT YET READY FOR PRIME TIME)

I dig both of these tracks. I think your mixes sound great, doing the individual parts justice in the tracks as a whole… Especially love the spontaneous vibe of the second track. Nice expressive lead work on the axe.

I'm late to the party but I'm glad I'm here.
This song is really well crafted, from the lyrics to the performance, to the production. Love the half-cocked wah tone in the guitar solo, Poodle. And the tension build and release is really cool. Great job!

Nice funky beat & feel on the second one. I like the use of the echo on the guitar to provide a nice wide audio space. Good dynamics hit the quiet part.
The Ghia sounds great.
You really change it up through out. That's cool.
