Very stoked about getting this inbound. It has a very interesting face plate… Very pretty. I might send it in for the master volume modification. What is the turnaround time on that approximately? Can you guys tell me if this is version one or version two?

what is the sonic difference between the version one in vernage two? Oversimplification but V1 breaks up a little earlier while V2 has a skosh more headroom. If you scour the Maserati sub forum you’ll find a lot of discussion about it. I wish there were a serial # delineation between the versions but I don’t believe there is. Check it out though, I could be wrong.

As I recall, the Version 1 switch to V2 was somewhere around Sept. 2001. So if it has a date code of M or later, it's going to be a V2. There are both V1 and V2 that probably have L serial number (V2 with an L would be limited).

Here's a V1 logo shot. It's Mazerati #001.

Enjoy it! I’ve had my V2 for 12 years now and it’s still my #1. I sent it to Z HQ for the master volume a few years ago. It’s an amp that loves to be cranked but the MV helps keep everyone at home happy.
