I saw this pop up on Netflix and remembered liking it as a kid. Sometimes these older movies are totally cheesy when I watch them now, but this one stood up. Good movie. Love the story and era it represents (1940's).

I remember watching this as a kid at the theater. I'll give it another watch now. Good heads up. Thanks!

^ My favorite line from the movie.
Abe Karatz: When I was a little kid, maybe five years old in the old country, my mother used to say to me -- she'd warn me, she'd say, "Don't get too close to people, you'll catch their dreams". Years later, I realized I misunderstood her. "Germs", she said, "not dreams, you'll catch their germs." I want you to know something, Tucker. I went into business with you for one reason, to make money, that's all. How was I to know... that if I got too close I'd catch your dreams?

Cool movie, awesome car, but grossly under capitalized from the beginning, and could never have survived under any circumstances, my .o2
