I have a Legacy Z28 head with individual 4,8 and 16 ohm speaker outs. How can I run 2 separate 1x12 cabs ? Can I use a Y cable splitter on the 4 ohm output ? Would that work and be OK for the amp head ? Both My cabs have just 1 input so I cant just string them together ... any thoughts appreciated ... Thanks, Craig

I've seen both series and parallel Y cables. You would need a parallel Y cable to hook two 8 ohm cabs and create a 4ohm load for the Z-28 output. I'm sure pcns on this forum could set you up with a parallel Y cable. A series cable would work also for the 16 ohm amp output.

Todd’s stuff is top shelf and will last at least as long as Doc’s amps - heirloom quality!

Todd’s cables are most excellent. I’ve been using a Y- cable with my Z-28 for several years ( 15 if I recall correctly) I run the ‘28 into a 112 w V30 and a 210 w Z10s. Get that ordered placed! Cheers always Joel
