If you run your Z-Lux on half power most, if not all, of the time, will the tubes wear out unevenly since two are not handling as much juice as the other two?
Inquiring mind wants to know....

It’s true, Docs half power model is more sophisticated than either dropping two tubes or pentode/triode switching. I “think” I had an idea how he does it when I pulled out my ZLux chassis to send in for the MKII update, but it’s long forgotten now. Just know it’s much better that the options mentioned above.
