I’ve got a (new to me) SR head with 112 cab running a Creamback 65. I’ve got a brake lite in the cab and just bought the Fryette PS2. The PS2 probably wins overall in attenuation and other features, but the little BL is pretty good at one or two clicks. Haven’t gigged or even rehearsed with it yet, but can’t wait. I mainly play teles with Lollar bridge pups (a Special and a Vintage T) and a Fralin mini neck in one and a TV Jones Starwood neck in the other. They were made for the amp. What amazes me is the tone palette available from just the tone and cut controls. Also the responsiveness to how you play. Even unattenuated, if I play gently, I can coax a tolerably low volume when I’m at 2 (9 o’clock). If I dig in, I blow the roof off (sorry neighbors). It takes my Timmy, Hotcake and Okko Diablo beautifully. Same with Keeley TS. Great with Keeley compressor. When I play my Ricky 620 through my Mosaic 12 string effect with comp, I hear The Byrds. It’s all quite easy to manage on a folding trolly. I’m happy.
