Ok I'm not sure the correct place to post this. Feel free to delete or move. I love my Wreck jr. , but it's income tax return time and I feel the need for a new amp. I'd like another Dr. Z amp to compliment my existing collection. I'll start off saying I have no business owning any of the amps I own. Z Wreck Jr. Two-Rock Classic Reverb Signature K&M Analog Designs Kimock Prototype#10 Swart Space tone Jr. Swart AST Pro VHT D-fifty I'm leaning towards a CAZ-45, what would you great folks recommend? Thanks!

What type of music do you play? Gigging or just at home? Are there any volume limitations for you?

If you love Warren Haynes may want to check out a Soldano. Don't know why they cost so much to be PCB but there seems to be something special about the high gain tones.

I would point out that Doc used a Soldano SLO (my amp) to A/B against the CAZ 45 during its development. The CAZ beat it hands down - Capable of the SLO dirt but a lot more versatile. I have one of the CAZ 45 prototypes so I've got a good reference base.

The CAZ 45 will do the Haynes stuff in spades and is far more versatile in my opinion, especially when you don't have any volume limitations.

I think you are a prime candidate for the CAZ- 45

Defiantly seems like it should be a CAZ-45 and it was the first one it seems that came to your mind... So ya CAZ it is!

I just pulled the trigger on a CAZ 45. I should have it next week. Thanks for the input. Steve Kimock and Warren Haynes are my guitar heroes. No volume limitations, plus I have an OX box. Looking at your list… if you haven’t experienced the preamp of an EF84 and the tone stack of an M12/z28/Route 66… you really need to. Bass and treble act as expected until the mid point, and then add gain. That combination is amazingly great!
