Hi there, I’ve had a Maz18jnr rev since 2013 and haven’t had any issues until recently. The amp has started to crackle and sizzle at intermittent intervals, at band rehearsal the other evening it became constant and remains.
I decided to treat myself to a full set of tubes from Watford valves in the UK but unbelievably the noise is still there.
I’ve tried taking tubes out and it reduces when I take out V3, but I’ve tried different tubes and both the same?
If it’s not the tubes could it be sockets???

I see you have no reverb tub connected with the reverb control on half. That will generate noise on its own but more of a hum not a crackle. If its not a tube as you have replaced them all and the circuit involved appears to be the reverb, V3 is the reverb driver/summer circuit. A good guess since it just sort of developed is a loose RCA female jack on the chassis. Try turning the Reverb control off and see if the problem goes away, if so safe bet it's in the reverb drive/sum circuit .
This will be an easy fix for a good tech since its not perceived problem, or intermittent problem , but good hard failure. I'm, sure a good tech will find the issue in the reverb drive circuit.
Wish you wouldn't have posted it on You Tube as the most expertise in Z amps is right here on this forum.

Thanks for the advice, I’ve deleted the YouTube video.
Will try the reverb route and if no joy, I will pop it into my repair shop
