Hey there guys,
I’am fairly new to Dr. Z amps. Ever since I got the chance to play through a Z Wreck, I‘ve been hooked and wanted one. The 30 watt Wreck is waaaaay too loud though and getting a Z Brake here in Germany is quite difficult. The Jr. is everything I‘ve wanted and more: the same sound along with a PPIMV. I‘am a huge Brad Paisley fan and I could literally get his exact sound through this amp!
I‘ve tried a Les Paul as well and that was awesome too but with a Tele, the amp‘s truly magical. Definitely one of the best sounding amps I‘ve ever played. The Doc has knocked it out of the park with this one!
I’ve played it through an open back Marshall 2x12 loaded with Eminence Legend speakers (16 ohm version). Sounded truly fantastic yet I‘m curious to try it with Celestion Blue + Gold speakers.

Hi ztwang.....Great to hear about your wreck jr. My jr combo should arrive this week (coming from my nearest dealer Haar Guitars in Holland to me in France). I had the full power wreck and concur for me that it was too loud even with the z-brake (bedroom setting was OK but didn't sound great). I have a tele with Brad's La Brea set in it so I'm really looking forward to this....

But it's a fantastic rock amp as well. I even played some Jazz through it and it became very clear to me that this amp delivers exactly what your hands give it. I ordered mine from Haar Guitars as well by the way.
