I just came upon a YouTube video by a fellow from Barefaced Audio, explaining the differences in the line of guitar speakers from Celestion. He does such an amazing job, that I wonder if he was previously an engineer or employee of Celestion.
Enjoy!

That was a great walk through. Pretty easy to follow and got just deep enough.

That was really good! I took a screen shot of the chart he drew up. I seem to have put Celestions in similar groups without any technical reasoning. But hearing the theory behind it puts it all together.

But hearing the theory behind it puts it all together. it sure cleared it up for me! I also have a new understanding of the V type speakers, especially after Pete Thorn’s YT demo. And the combination of a V30 and a G12 Anniversary in a ZBest makes sense also.

Also got me interested in their cab designs. Cool ways to emulate multiple drivers.

I watched a little. Very cool! I could have sworn there was a page on the Celestion site that provided similar info and was an interesting read. I was going to post for additional info, but I could not find it.
I'll be watching the entire video. I agree with the above that it's very interesting to see how the models were developed and how they're related. Thank You!

I put the A Type in my old Magnatone and its glorious, and i've been wanting to try it with my Z28.

Imagine JH Experience sitting in the back of the class. Noel fell asleep, Jimi turns to Mitch with a slight smile and says “ dude is trippin’ man, and by the way isn’t that your stick he’s using? Find out if he wants to work along with Mayer and figure some stuff out for me....”
