Here's my favorite guitar and amp pairing these days.
You've heard about the Monza- it was built in 2011 and has a PPIMV on the back. The guitar is a 2019 Heritage H-150. It's all stock with the original Duncan '59 pickups except that I rewired the tone capacitors to the output side of the volume controls for better clarity when turning down. It plays great and weighs just under 9 pounds- just right for a Les Paul in my opinion.
This is not the most versatile setup, my Cure gets a bigger variety of sound, has as much gain as I need, and cleans up better, but the tone! This does a dry British blues/rock sound that even my Marshall and Avatar 45 can't beat. You can't see the amp's knobs here, but they're all at noon, except the PPIMV which is at about 9:00.

Beautiful Heritage. I had a early 2000’s h-150 about 10-11 years ago. great guitar. the last guitar I owned before I got into PRS’s. I’d take a Heritage over a Les Paul any day.

I replaced my Les Paul with this H-150. I also replaced my ES-335 with a Heritage H-535. They were both good guitars, but I don't miss either of them.

the I’m a sucker for natural wood grain on a guitar. the 535’s look great in natural! ( I must admit, both those Gibson’s were lookers!)

Just happened upon this used Duo Sonic this weekend. Short 24 in scale, clear single coil pickups. The aggressive gain structure lets any guitar get down and dirty! imgur.com/3elAfU9

I’m not much of a Fender guy, but years ago I played a Duo sonic I fell in love with that played like a dream. then I notice the headstock repair. that shyed me away from buying it, but I have thought about it many times afterwards. congrats on the new guitar. what year is it?

It's a recent Mexican reissue with some updates, like the slightly longer scale, medium frets, etc. $599 used.
