Howdy! Long time no see. I just bought a used MK 1 Junior, in red. 2014. I like it, I like the bite! Been looking for a smallish amp that didn't sound small. I'm thinking I found it. It sounds pretty dang good with my Tele. I had a Z28 way back around 2007, and I had a Surgical Steel when I was trying to learn how to play pedal steel, but I gave up on that and sold it. Anyway, I got this Maz 18 Jr. And I had an EV 12L just laying around not getting used, so I went to put it in. But the G12H30 that was in there, it was really in there. It tore when I finally got it unstuck. Put about a 2 inch tear in the speaker surround. Is something like that repairable with superglue? Oh yeah, that EV12L sounds pretty dang sweet in it! Gives it a little more thump.

Congrats on the Maz, I love mine. They're a great amp.
A torn surround is not an easy fix. You could try something like Aileen's Tacky Glue, backed up with a slim strip of toilet tissue. The Aileen's Tacky Glue stays somewhat flexible.
I think I'd seriously consider having it reconed if it were me.

Well, I have another one just like it sitting in the closet, not torn. So, not a huge deal, anyway.
