There have been many questions asked on the forum about how speaker construction and design relates to tone. Anyone with questions about that should watch this video. This guy REALLY knows his stuff. I have spent thousands of dollars over several decades learning a lot of this. I wish I had had access to this when I was starting out.

I wish I had known about this and that a Jensen rep would be interviewed. I would have submitted a couple questions for Jensen such as:
1) Why do you exaggerate the power handling of your loudspeakers? 2) Why do you not offer recone kits for your loudspeakers?
Having been through the blown Jensen routine, I think those questions may answer each other.

Wow. He starts right off with the two speaker juggernaut myths! Very informative. Good post. But now I see a trend of people painting their speaker cones and discussing the tone differences of various paint colors and brands Favorite quote "Its rock and roll and needs to be played at a certain volume. It's as simple as that."

Good video. I always thought the neo speakers were not as good as ceramic or alnico magnet ones. I might need to try one out now.
