Hi guys, I’m finally getting around to trying to use the effects loop on my Maz NR, and noticed quite a bit of hum. Not sure yet if it’s loop related, but prior to this going straight in, with pedals I didn’t have this issue. Re-routed the board back to front of amp and hum still there, albeit somewhat less.
should I check tubes?
thanks for any suggestions.

For sure. Most likely power tubes.

Could be as simple as a tube is a little loose or just sitting weird. When I get a hum that didn't used to be there, once I trace it back to the amp (not a pedal or cable), I try making sure that nobody wiggled loose.

Thanks. Replaced all tubes, and it’s definitely improved, but not as silent when it came back from the MKII update. It’s a 2010-11 head.
could be rogue signal in my house that’s doing this possibly.
thans again for your input
cheers.

Make sure there are no phones around the amp - don't ask me how I know! 😔
