Hi all, My son and I have been working on pickup designs for the past few months and we have something we feel is production ready. Is anyone out there willing to give them a try? We sent a set to a friend who is going to start building his own guitars and he really likes these. We out a set in my sons SG Standard and he told me we can sell off all the pickups he has tried. Send me an IM and I can start a list of who is willing to check them out and give us some feedback. This first set is a neck and bridge pairing. Not super hot but they get it done for gain. Nice sparkly top end and tight mids and bass. The neck pickup is especially nice because it gives you a great singing lead tone without getting muddy. I'll mail you the pups. Please be ready to turn them around within one weeks time and then I will send you a shipping label for the next person to try them or to send them back home. These will fit any standard Gibson string spacing guitars. When you IM me please let me know what guitar and amp you are going to use them in. Thanks for the help, Todd

Wow, reminds me of when Steve Miller (Lizard Leg) sent out his Flying Dragon pedal to those on the East Coast as well as those on the West Coast (and those in between) to demo it, then send it to the next person on the list. Sounds like you are very confident in your product Toddm, as well as the caliber of Z folk you would trust with them! Blessings to you and your new product!

I am confident in my product but really want some feedback. It's easy to think your baby is beautiful, need to know if others think it is too!

Let us know if you do something similar with Fender spacing. I have a Duo Sonic that I wasn't planning to do much with, but it's cutting in and out on me. Looks like I'll be pulling the pick guard and updating some of the wiring at least. I would be curious what it might sound like with a different bucker in the bridge. (I got this for my kids to learn on, unless they fall in love with it I'll eventually move it on so I don't want to invest too much in it)

I am winding a set of pups for 53mm (Bridge) and 50mm (neck) right now. It does change the wind count a bit since the larger bobbin takes fewer winds. I should know early to mid this coming week how they sound. Unless I put them in on of my guitars here at the house before I ship these . . . . . probably will! If I like the results, I'll let you know
