Howdy,
Why do YOU like the Stangray? (It's on my list of Z amps as a retirement gift to myself next year, along with the Route 66 and DB4.) My only Z is the Ghia and it's great.

Simplicity.
If I have to grab one amp and go, that’s going to be it. You can cover just about any situation when paired with a 16ohm Blue/Gold 2x12.
I’ve been in the studio the past few weeks, and that’s always the first electric track that goes down.
You won’t be disappointed!

No matter how I set up the amp - it sound wonderful. Low volume - beautiful, cranked up - sonic heaven.

Best clean tone ever. Period. Yep, this right here. Norrin nailed it! Dare I say complex and interesting clean tones? I guess by that I mean not sterile. (Although I love a TR too, so there’s that.)
