Just received my new HOC (Heritage Owners Club) Limited Edition Heritage H-137 Custom Shop in TV Yellow. A great looking and sounding guitar! It's got two Mojotone Quiet Coil soapbar true P90's with scatterwound A5 magnets. Nice bite to them - like the old '59 Jrs. Here it is with a couple of friends.

Congrats! If I didn't know better, I'd swear that fretboard was ebony. That's some dark, dark rosewood. And a pretty guitar too!

DITTO. Were the Mojotone pups what Heritage is using stock, or did you have options?

Nice acquisition. Heritage makes some fine guitars. This is a great example.

Awesome looking guitar!! Always had interest in Heritage, but never tried one. I’ve come very close to a H-150 and a H-535 several times. I have played/owned a Collings 290 in the past. How does it compare to that, Mike?

How does it compare to that, Mike? I think the Collins might have a slight edge but it’s really close. They are building some really good guitars in Kalamazoo!

Mike, can you describe the differences in sound from your stock 137 and this customer shop one?

I briefly played a Collings I35 when shopping for my Heritage 535. I preferred my 535; especially for the difference in price. That’s meaning no disrespect to Collings or those that own them. I am just overjoyed with my Heritage.
