Any one using these for their board(s)? If so, what are your thoughts? I sure like the super small plugs.

I have a dew of their regular guitar cables, but have not tried their pedalboard cables.

I've used them--once they're properly assembled, they seem pretty darned strong and the plugs are small, cable is flexible, sound is neutral, etc. However, keep in mind that I said "properly assembled" because if you don't know what to feel/listen for during assembly then you might miss making that mechanical connection (it happened to me a few times before I learned how to work with them).
That being said, if I knew my board was in a stable format and wasn't going to change (I know, Ha!, right?) then I'd just call Todd @ PCNS and pay him & Patty to make me soldered connectors... because those things are SOLID and man I hate all that cutting/stripping/twisting just to connect my pedals. Especially if I was gigging or performing, because then reliability would be paramount.

I think I'm going to order a smaller kit and give em a try before I go all-in. I also agree with you on Todd and Patty. I have several of their cables and they are top notch.

I use a Forte and a lyric Hg. I like them alot. I also use a couple of Lava cables. for pedal boards I use the Planet waves or Lava mini elc. (I like Todd's cables for speaker and XLR cables)

Thanks guys. I decided yesterday to go all in and ordered enough to re-wire my board (with a couple spares left over).

I built 15 cables (30 plugs) and had two cable failures. I may have over rotated the plug. If the copper core breaks during disassembly, there is a YouTube demoing how to use a chopstick to grab and remove the copper core. I was able to recover 2 plugs of four assembly failures. I cut to exposed both the Copper Core and White Isolator 1/8" for right angle plugs. This page helped me with my assembly. www.evidenceaudio.com/library/sis-assemblyWithin the video note the twist direction of the plug and number of rotations to securing to the core. This is a good supplier for single plug replacements. www.americanloopers.com/pages/evidence-audio-monorail-sis-assembly?_pos=1&_sid=1290518b0&_ss=rYou will not regret this cable system. Low profile, greater signal strength and high frequencies. I wish I had used these cables on my first build.

I actually bought my kit from the same company you recommended, American Loopers. Nice lookin board as well!

I have several PCNS speaker cables, all quality workmanship, very durable and trustworthy (something you want between your amp head and cab).

Think of it this way. If you are going to play electric you HAVE to have at least three things. A guitar, a cable (unless you are wireless), and an amp. You have spent over $1000 each on both your guitar and amp. Probably much more if you are on this forum. Now you are considering skimping on the cable(s). How much sense does that make?

Actually that's why I decided to re wire my board with cables that pro-level rig builders use, Dan from Gig Rig to be one of many. These cables aren't cheap, and by the time it's all said and done I'm going to have several hundred $$ in them. I like the versatility of building my own, but my soldering skills are not where it needs to be. I've been using George L's for years and I know I've reconfigured them countless times. I think these Evidence cables will be an upgrade (I hope).

I am not a fan of George L connectors at all. Lava or Evidence connectors are a big improvement. Still, there is a good reason why Dr. Z and most other high quality amps are soldered. That also goes for the connections inside your guitar. Even CHEAP guitars where they try to cut every corner for cost.

The 3 monkeys pedal cables I got are really good. Solid and easier than George L (which I’ve used for years) to connect well. Not cheap, but very good. The key to pedal board cables, for me, is ease of changing things. I don’t change my board-to-amp run, nor my head-to-cab run, but the damned pedal board is a living, breathing, morphing mess. 🙄

I'm so convinced that soldered connections are more reliable than any other type that I'll never change. I really hope they work out great for all who use them, but it's just not my style.

Dc here!
I don't know about the Evidence solderless cables.
In my pedalboard that I don't use a whole lot - I have the PCNS cables Todd makes. ( also have som of his regular cables Canare GS-6 - also very good cables )
I have the HG Lyric I use as my main cable straight into my amps. That's the best cable money can buy. ( my opinion )
