My wife got me a looper a few months ago and I'm still figuring it out , a Ditto Looper X2. I recorded the rhythm for Creams "Strange Brew" into it with an Epiphone ES-335 Pro , then played over the playback with my Gibson SG Standard. I liked the results , but I still want to figure out how guys do the "building layers" thing. Has a pretty interesting "Reverse" function I'm experimenting with.Anyway , here goes-

We watched Ed Sheeran's Wembly Stadium concert last year. I was thinking "He must have a band" to play the big places. Nope. Just him, his acoustic, and his loopers. It was amazing how he pulled it all together. Enjoy! Sounding good.

I'm still finding it challenging to get the timing down at the start points on-the-fly when doing a tune.

Using 2 amps helps with clarity. Loop on one amp and solo on the other.
It takes a bit to get used to the pedal not flowing with you like a band does. Doing layers takes practice (like everything)....lots of almost got it but whoops moments. At least with the Ditto you can undue the last loop if you error.
Sounded pretty good.

Thanks for the tips , much appreciated! I'm having a lot of "whoops" moments LOL! I'm gonna try the 2 amps , great idea.

Great job, Frank!! You're getting the hang of it! I had the single Ditto looper for a bit. I liked it but it was a tricky little bugger to get the right timing on...well, I say that, it wasn't the looper's fault...it was me! haha!
