Yesterday, I went into my local Z dealer and played through a Nova... Yikes!!! I’ve been following the threads, read everything you guys have to say about it, so I felt like I kinda knew what to expect and how to basically dial it in... Nope. I was more blown away than I thought I’d be. The cleans!!! So stout, and full and thick. And touch sensitive. And just gorgeous. Then I hit the footswitch.... holy crap. Gain. Gobs of it. I get it now. I think. Anyway, I decided I like the gain fairly low, around 9:00, or even less. At least for rhythm chording. The warm tube sound of the amp is haunting me... I’m in love with my Z plus, but the Nova does exactly what I’d hoped. It’s only a matter of time, I guess. damn.

Yes, resistance is futile.
Nova is a superb companion and complement to a Z-Plus.

The Nova is a killer amp. I set my OD at around 9 as well (as does doctorice I believe) and use the GV to clean it up.

Yep to the above. The Z-Plus and the Nova pair up superbly.
