I am having trouble deciding which one to try first. Never played a Z. either.
Touch sensitive and clean to overdriven with just varying attack is what interests me in both amps. Edge of breakup settings are one use I would have for them. Also, the ability to dial in settings with various levels of gain using the effective eq design, or at least thats what I am hearing in clips and demos. I am hoping the eq allows the medium to higher overdriven tones to sit well in a full band mix too. Live we play a variety of Pop, Country, Rock, Blues, R&B, etc...
I would be using the head versions with a Alnico Cream in a 1X12 and a Strat (p90, SC, SC) and have a variety of Boost, OD and Fuzz pedals for more gain stages.
Thoughts and Advice! I am eager to try one or both.

I have 3 old version Maz Jrs and you can’t go wrong with them. But, I just got a Wreck Jr and I would tell you wait for one of them. Unbelievable dynamics.
With that said, you can’t go wrong with either one.
