our current band rehearsal schedule is every other week without the drummer so we can work out the harmonic/melodic parts for new material without him.
if we come up with something we like, we record it so we can remember the structure... this is something my bass player wrote and i've been finding parts to play on the guitar.
anyway... the reason i'm posting is cause the GHIA is a ridiculously great sounding amplifier....
here i have the tone at 1 o'clock and vol at barely 8 o'clock. compressor on and some light delay from the line6 dl4.

Good feel and riffing. Kind of puts you in a nice mellow mood with some good feeling and style.

Nice interplay. You don't hear that enough between bass and guitar. Love it.

Nice interplay. You don't hear that enough between bass and guitar. Love it. The bassist started off as a guitarist and he's very talented. so, that can be intimidating. I made a decision a long time ago to only play with people who I feel are as competent or preferably, better than i am on their instrument.
i feel fortunate to have such strong players in the band.
we brought the drummer in on it this week.
and then i had a new idea for a song and i brought in a :30 second clip of me playing it on the guitar and they were able to pick it up in a few minutes.

WOW, what a gorgeous tune. BOTH of you are playing beautifully. I could listen to that all day. 5 stars for both of you! (what speaker is in your Ghia combo?)

well, Martin asked me a bunch of questions in a PM about the rig i'm using in the videos above. Here's my Rig Rundown in under 2 minutes. Let me know if you like my pedalboard building skills and i'll make you one just like it. LOL
