They look pretty nice, and list at a decent price point. I'm not in the market at the moment, but if I wanted another Strat I might take a look at these. My only hesitation is that they seem to run a little on the heavy side--closer to 8.5 lbs than what, for me, is the ideal weight for a Strat--something under 7.5.

I agree on the weight factor I prefer 7.5 or lighter guitars. Both my strats have the 9.5 neck radius and they are C shaped as well. They are large headstock 69 style guitar necks which I really like. I will say this about the ultra guitars the necks felt and played great. I think they could have come up with some better colors though. The split coil bridge pick ups where you can go from single coils to humbuckers with just a tap on the volume nob was pretty cool as well. Just gives you sone more options if I got one I would probably go with that model. I’m still on the fence about it. I just bought my oldest son a really sweet Jazz Master. So right now I’m working on paying that off. I’m pretty satisfied with my two old strats right now.

I played one at Guitar Center and I was really impressed. I used to think of myself as a preferring vintage specs, but this one just played like a dream. The fretboard radius is great and the tremolo seems to be more stable than an American Professional and a Vintera I played. I also liked the slightly wider fretboard compared to vintage width. The only thing I'm not sure I prefer is the next shape - "D"-shape I think.
