Howdy from Fort Worth, Texas!
New guy to this forum, so I don’t know if this has been covered in another thread before, so please be nice if you answer.
I have a very beloved 1990 Fender ‘63-reissue Vibroverb amp that I purchased new-in-the-box in 1992.
I love this amp, however, I’d like to get some earlier/lower volume breakup out of it...I play both guitar and harp through this amp.
Two questions: (1) Will the Brake Lite work with the Vibroverb (40w amp)?
(2) Anybody have any experience using an Attenuator while plying harp? If so, any issues?
Thank y’all in advance—
Tex

Welcome to the forum - lot of good info and great people here. You shouldn't have a problem - here's the description from the Z website.
"The Brake Lite works with any tube amp up to 45 watts and can be used with 4, 8, or 16, ohm loads. Very simple to install, the Brake Lite mounts with 2 screws and has a hardwired speaker cable to plug into the amp chassis. Plug the speaker into the Brake Lite and you are ready to go."

You can also mount with a good double-sided tape; 3M makes some heavy-duty stuff that works great. Or buy the standalone Brake Like and let it sit on top of the amp. (Or inside if there's enough space, but remember it needs some venting due to the heat it emits when engaged.)
