So far. Tube Rectifier Touch Up Presence 10 o'clock Bass Noon-ish Mid 10 o'clock Treble 9 o'clock Gain 2 o'clock Volume around 9 o'clock to 11 depending on mood
Not married to those yet. They'll all change after a planned pickup swap, but those seem OK for the Tele in all positions. The biggest surprise of this amp so far is suddenly the neck and middle positions of the guitar are attractive for something other than clean strumming. The EMS gives them balls and decent grind without turning to mud.
The MV is very effective. I thought I'd miss the power scaling of the 5150III, but that isn't the case. Also thought I'd miss the massive amounts of gain on tap, but I don't. I spend a LOT more time playing than with any amp in recent memory. If nothing else, it took away option overload. Can't wait to try it with Hot Rails and drop tunings.

It's not brand new and isn't a MAZ 18, so we're a minority here... Ha!

The only pedals I've tried are a Boss DS-1 and CH-1. Only briefly. Still enjoying just the amp alone. The CH-1 can be set for just a wash of chorus which sounded very warm through the EMS and was great for wanking out "pretty" sounding chord patterns (gag). It was OK with gain too but I need more tweak time.
The DS-1 does a great job of just giving "more" of what's already in the EMS. I set the level on it for "unity", adjusted the tone to taste (around 11 o'clock) and the gain at 2 o'clock. The EMS character remained, it just had more dirt. Think I had the EMS gain around noon.
