I have a bad pot in my Les Paul with P90's, so I'm replacing all the pots.
I'm putting 500K CTS pots for both volume and tone on the neck side, but I'm not sure what I want to do on for the pots on the bridge side. I'd like to fatten up the bridge just a bit. I'm thinking about using 300K pots on the bridge. I'm just not sure if I should use 300K pots on just the volume, just the tone, or both.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Some folks will hopefully chime in with past experience. I'm thinking you'll need to experiment to see what you like.
I remember swapping mine out for something back in the day because my brother thought we should. I remember not liking the tone and going back to the original values. Then, at some point, my bridge pickup tone control broke, and I decided to bypass it until I could fix it. When I finally fixed it, I realized I liked the sound better with it bypassed (although I can't remember if it made it brighter or what). It's been bypassed for the past 30 years or so.

I'm pretty sure my P-90 LP Jr. Special has 300k pots all around. It's not too bright but it's got that great P-90 chimey grunt going on. They're stock Gibson P-90s. I've thought about going to 500k for the neck pickups though. Still considering that one.

Thanks for the responses guys.
Today, I installed new pots and caps all around. I put 500K pots on neck volume and tone, 300K on bridge volume, and 500K on bridge tone. I didn't have much time to play it today, but I think I like so far.
