Two weeks ago I traded a 66/67 blackface Bassman to my local Long & McQuiad for a Therapy.
Yes, the Bassman was very nice and sounded great, but I bought it at a good price, already had all the cap work done. I had to replace the tubes and a grid resister.
Anyway, as this was to be used as a gigging amp, I didn’t feel comfortable with it and decided to move it when something came up. I had a Ghia that I was using as my main amp for couple of years and always loved it, no noise, had no issues ever, so when the Therapy came up, it was a no brainer to give er a go.
Well, in short, I love it! Great at home on lower volumes and fantastic at rehearsal when opened up.
I ended up selling my Ghia, shipping it off today, but I gave them both a go in stereo over the weekend...(once I can figure out how to post a pic, I will
I’m using an older 12-65 in a closed back 1x12 Z cab with the Therapy, have a Weber Blue Dog in the Ghia cab.
Congrats. crank the "middle" control all the way up.

GuitarZ: So, I cranked up the privacy protection on my browsers, facebook, etc. I have to say I miss the music ads and such. I really don't need ads for watches and other random stuff. Maybe the internet knowing me isn't such a bad thing.

GuitarZ: I'm okay with the AARP letters. You're still living and breathing? What the heck am I to think when a funeral home sends me a free consultation offer? Ouch!

GuitarZ: Reminds me of buying my Honda. When they tried to sell me the maintenance package, I said "Is your car not reliable?" Long story short my wife teamed up with the sales lady to buy the maint package. Never again!
