Hi folks
I am occasionally using a Boss ES5 controller with my Cure. I like the boost but do not want to use the included boost pedal. I would ideally like to trigger the boost with the ES5. Does anyone have experience using a midi controller to turn the boost on and off (perhaps using a CC command)?

I use “something else” to control my boost; a Boss FS-5L. It is quiet and it has a light so I don’t forget it is on.

So with the boss footswitch, you are full “on” boost, right?
The boss pedal is an intriguing idea. I find that once or twice a night I am turning the boost on and off to determine if it is on. Not a big deal, I find spots where there is a lot going on and I do my little test then, but a deal none the less.
To the midi question, you would think that would work with a midi controller as you are sending an on off signal to the amp. But making it adjustable might be more of a question for a controller manufacturer.

Yes, I’m on full boost with the Boss FS-5L. But I keep the EQ pretty high so the boost is not so pronounced.
