I'm looking into all of these models with reverb and the new versions mk II
Whats the pros an cons for each one?
From what i understand
38 is the bigger sounding Maz does to the quad el84, big transformer but to get it to break up is all about the preamp gain unless playing big stages?
18 seems the most versatile due to sits in-between everything.
8 is this not the holy grail? Can you just keep the master up for gigs, preamp volume up to fit the room, guitar volume to set let of gain? Power tube distortion. I guess it hasn't got that big feel about it compared to the other two.
Whats everything thought for a gigging player and experiences.

I will say that 18 on occasion has run out of gas with a loud jam/drummer....this is rare and really should never be that loud in the first place...but it has happened to me several times...that's the only thing I can gauge that the 8 just wouldn't work for me in live situations...jams...if a band setting w/8... different circumstance.

Three different amps. Not the same amp in 3 different wattages.
Get the 18. A modern day classic!
