Any recommendations for a good tremolo pedal through the effects loop of a Z-PLUS? (For example, a Supa-Trem, etc.)

It depends on how much "tweekability" you want and if you want a bias type or optical trem. I've got a Strymon Flint and also a Line 6 M5 that are great but maybe more than you need. I've also got a very inexpensive Joyo trem pedal that actually works well for simple optical trem like you would get on most Fender amps. I've had it in the effects loop of a MAZ 18 and it sounded good. I wasn't overdriving the amp though so that kept the signal at a level the pedal could handle.
If price is not an issue I am really in love with what I've heard from Kingsley stuff. His Bard pedal has a luscious trem sound. I believe it is a bias type which is what is in my JAZ and the J-Lux. Also in my Princeton Reverb, which is unusual for a Fender . A bias trem is something you have to play through to appreciate. It responds to how hard you play.

The Demeter Tremulator is hard to beat for a combination of simplicity and authenticity. If you want a lot of tweakability it may not be for you. My musical and social development pretty much stopped in about 1969 so that's my frame of reference. It does that genre very well.
Never tried a Z-Plus, but it sits very nicely indeed in the loop of the Maz Jr. and Maz 8.

See if you can get one of the moog minifooger trems for $99 from alto music on reverb. The supatrem 2 from fulltone is amazing, especially in stereo. I found a great deal on one used.

I am really happy with the Diamond Tremolo, lots of variety.I have owned and loved the T rex tremster, the big box made in Denmark version.Really simple and satisfying.Wish I hadn't sold it. Bad combination of GAS and FundSoLow,caused that one. To Clarify, these were/are into the front of a Therapy, not a loop.

Using the Supa Trem Jr for mine. Tried the Walrus Momentum first and didn’t like it. The SP Jr is a nice pedal and sounds great with the Plus IMO. However, I actually prefer to run my Trem and Strymon DIG delay (only pedals I use) in front of the amp. Sounds better to me then in the loop.

The three best I've played with: Not in any order
Strymon Flint (which also gives you reverb) Cusack Tap-A-Whirl ( I have one I might part with soon) Diamond Tremolo
All sound great in the effects loop of my Z-Plus.

I have traded in all my pedals for a HX Effects, a bit pricey out the gate but it does it all for me!

I have have a full tone supatrem version 1. Dave Baker uses a Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter in his Z-Plus demo. It sounds nice and has me curious as does Jam Pedals The Chill. Good luck in your hunt, let us know what you decide.

The flint is it for me. Harmonic trem is to die for. Scratches the vibe itch
