Here's a question for Dr Z: I have a 2016 Master Volume Remedy. I am considering buying a Z best cab for it. As you know, it has a multi-tap tranny. My theory is that the 16-ohm output will provide the best response and tone, because the full secondary winding is being used, as opposed to the 4 or 8 ohm jacks, which tap some of the secondary winding out to meet the stated impedance. Is this a valid argument, or is the Remedy transformer manufactured to operate differently than other multi-tap trannies? Thanks!

But your empirical findings may not be so astounding. Z

Thanks, I like that answer. The idea is good on paper, but may not have the same sonic impact. Fine amp by the way, I love it! So has anybody else tried comparing the different speaker outputs on the Remedy?
