How did I just now discover Jeff Buckley?
I used to see his name pop up in guitar magazines during the late 90s but I never even gave him a listen. I was listening to a podcast dealing with celebrity deaths and things the other day and they were talking about him on there so I pulled up a couple of his songs and now I'm a major major fan.

Definitely a talent. I came across his Hallelujah video a number of years back. It kind of took my breath away, and I don't get all that emotional. My wife loved it to.
I've come across a number of folks late and/or after they passed. You do wonder how you missed them, but it's always cool to discover something new to you. The one that had me kicking myself was Doyle Bramhall. I found him after he was nominated for a grammy. I was listening to him for maybe 2-3 years before I found out he had passed. As best I bought figure out, I bought that first CD after he had passed.

Look up his Dad, who also died young, Tim Buckley.

I guess I've listened to it about 90 times in past few days.
