This video sums it all up. It really explains how versatile these fuzz can be if you know how to work them.

Remember, I’m not a pedal guy, but now I’ve added yet another. I have missed the one fuzz I really liked, a Systech from the 70s. I’m fairly sure that was Zappa’s pedal into a Pignose for pieces like his iconic “Cosmic Debris.”
Finally, I decided to get a Pocket Weasel. It has an adjustable Q point and two levels of distortion, as well as a volume control. Like other pedals, it doesn’t give a lot of touch, but if you have to paint with a broad brush, it’s a fun one.

Loving my sunlion and works so well with my amps. Just had to say it again after practice last night.

I just picked up a analogman sunface NKT red dot fuzz I guess he ran out of the red dot NKT 275 transistors But these new NKT red dots came from the same manufacture And according to Analog Mike sound identical. Anyway it sounds awesome. I went to a smaller board and I hardly use the beano boost on my sunlion so I sold it. Now I have the sunface fuzz but I will say I like the NKT transistors Better then the standard germaniums. The fuzz tone is thicker sounding and when you roll back it has a Smokey bluesy tone It’s still articulate warm and harmonic. Mike says the NKT transistors have some mojo in them and I have to Agree now having tried both standard and the red dot they are both great the standards do clean up better. And you can’t go wrong with either one. He makes some awesome fuzz pedals def worth checking them out.
