My Cure came last week and I can't stop playing it! I haven't owned a 6V6 amp in a long while and this amp is just terrific...there isn't a sound coming from the amp that isn't great.
The amp certainly has enough volume for most gigs I'd do and could be mic'd for larger venues. I keep wondering how it would sound if I had another Cure and ran them set the same for a pseudo-stereo effect using either a pedal with stereo outs or an A/B switch to combine them? My first thought is the boost could not be used with two amps so much of the drive would have to come from running the amps hotter or pedals. I've used two-amp setups in the past but they were usually different amps...most times the mic'd amp is sent to the house in mono so the split amp setup is mostly for my benefit. But it sounds soooooo good!
Has anyone tried anything like this?

I've thought about getting a second Cure and running two. I also wondered how to kick both boosts on at the same time. I've also thought about running two clean! I normally run my amps "breaking up" and then turn the guitar down for cleans, but the other day I turned the volume of the Cure down to noon and WOW OH WOW, what a wonder clean sound! I've not spent a lot of time with the cleans of this amp, but I knew it would some really good clean tones. I have since explored more of the clean side of it. Then I thought about how great two Cures would sound with my Analog Man Stereo Chorus. Hmmmmm.
