Discontinued and replaced by the 10" RF Ceramic.
Were you guys aware of this? Maybe I just don't get out enough.
I find it hard to believe that Emi would do this!

Not per se, I have one.
But it's nice to know that one would be available just in case.

I don't see it there. The reason I looked is I have a 1x10 combo coming next week and and I may be looking for a speaker replacement.

Had to have been a cost based business decision. I'm bummed I sold my tens (they were better than the twelves). Uhg... hopefully something will take their place... maybe a tone tubby.

Still available as of Aug. 2016
Last August (2016) I noticed that the 10” alnico Red Fang was absent from the Eminence website and fired off an e-mail asking if it was a discontinued item.
In response, I received:
“Yes, Red Fang 10 was discontinued from our stock line, but we can still produce them for you in our custom shop.”

Still curious, I asked why, and received:
“We did not sell enough to justify keeping them in stock.”

I agree great speaker, loud speaker.
I once for fun put mine into a Vox AC 4 watt amp I have,
oh my the increase of volume was amazing, I could now keep up with 15-20 watt amps,
I went from mic'n the amp all the time to no mic at all.
I mean the speaker cost more than the amp but it was an interesting experiment none the less and endless source of
amazement and questions at the gigs.

I'd almost be afraid to ask the obvious question of them though!

I ran 2 RF and 2, Ramrods in my SR wow Talk about friggin LOUD!!!!! It was too mid Heavy , I may have not given it the chance well long enough for Break in 10's require longer times for break in due to the cone not moving quite like a 12" ? it was a Vol Issue, Id say Eminence were losing sales to the Ever Popular Celestion Gold the TT 10
