I know these are sprinkled around in different threads, but I'm pretty blown away by these videos so I figured I'd post them in one place. Do yourself a favor and listen to them through good headphones or speakers.

Thanks for these Ryan! I really dig the tone on all of 'em , but for me the "Stones-esque" is most interesting. Even with the volume/ master up fairly high it wasn't as dirty as I thought it might be - which I really like. Was wondering about the clean headroom. Or at least "cleanish" headroom.

Wow, I wish I hadn't clicked on this. GAS is setting in..... I always thought that Dr Z should make a 12 to 15 Watter with 6L6 or 6V6 tubes. What a great sounding amp.

The great thing about this amp is that there are multiple levels of gain staging available between the variable boost, volume, master, and level. Turn the boost on and the master and volume on 10 and you can get into pretty raging gain. And at any volume. Leaving the master high and you have pretty much clean to edge of breakup from 0 to about noon.

I imagine that - like with my MAZ - it *really* depends on the input level as well. Plug a hot Les Paul into the same settings and you'll get a much different sound, judging from the other demos I've heard. That's possibly what I like most about Zs. They really make the guitar and your playing matter.
