This story began in the Carmen Ghia section..... "I got a church gig almost a year ago and they have 3 amps set up in the back. 3 cab's are in an ISO closet behind the amp heads sitting in a cool, lighted shelf/rack.. The amp I normally use is a Matchless Spitfire clone. The guy has taken that one home so I was stuck using a Fender SuperSonic through an unknown speaker in a Marshall cab. I figure I'd do my good duty/deed and leave a rig for me and/or anyone to use when I'm not there. Has to be a head and cab. I have a Z 1-12 with a Cream but no Z head at the present. I thought and quickly chose a Ghia." ....then after delivery and a day of twiddling, I missed my Therapy. I missed the warmth and fatness. Also the available extra power. I needed a simple amp with not many knobs to fiddle with....That's the main reason for the Ghia to start. The Therapy has a few more controls..AND more versatile. (so....i can adjust it back to the way I like it on the fly as the stage is big and about a 50' walk to stage position to the amp rack.) In a moment of craziness, I sold my original Therapy after a few weeks with the ZLux. Now, with the ZLux gone, I needed more Therapy! This amp goes into full time service Dec 11th. Been putting it through the paces the past 2 days and this amp is THE ticket for my situation. The Cream is a wonderful match with this amp in my opinion.

Therapy is a great amp for many situations. Good to see it back in your mix. It will be last head/cab out the door for me!

Looks great in blonde. And I completely approve of your MV setting. That photo was of my original amp. The new one is exactly the same....however, my setting have changed. Master is usually between noon and 2pm. Another thing I didn't notice on my first one...the middle control is more of a mid & treble, and the treble is more of a high treble. Normally bass 11-1, middle about 3pm and treble 9am......volume around noon... Great edge of breakup tones and a boost pedal gives a great crunch. KoT pushes into tonal nervana!!

Those are pretty much the exact settings that I tend to use except for lower Volume setting since I'm not using an iso setup and noon is quite loud.

Yes, this amp has a lot of high end and can get into that early Buddy Guy bridge pickup sound as well as the likes of Ray Buchanan sosunding Tele shrillness that Fender amps could do...without ice pick evils but still sharp. Also the Bass seems like it acts to add smoothness to the highs of the M and T. Also the V adds highs into the mix.
