Hi all. I just got a great deal on a used EZG50 combo that was made March of 2014.The original owner took out the NOS tubes and replaced them with EH tubes, including the power tubes. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what V1 thru v4 Do? I have NOS 12ax7 and 12at7 tubes. I would like to use them where they would do the most. Thanks all.

V1 is the first tube that receives the input from your guitar. V4 is the phase inverter tube which sends the signal to the output power tubes I am not exactly sure which does what but V2 and V3 drive the tone stack and the reverb circuit. If I had to guess, V2 drives the reverb and V3 drives the tone. Maybe someone could correct me if I am wrong. You can refer to the tube info section of the Dr Z website if you are unsure where the tubes should go. drzamps.com/support/tube-info/
