Just curious to get some opinions.
Love my wreck, lately been using it with one gold at 8 ohms to help with volume. It's got me thinking that I should just get the combo, as it's smaller and fits better at most gigs the groups I work with use.
I don't want to get rid of the head and cab (the silver looks awesome in my studio!).
Anyone own both combo and cab?
Thanks1

Carrjimi,
If your looking for approval from your colleagues to expand your capability to amplify sound then you came to the right place,
and yes, you're probably nuts, but you're in good company.

I own both. Unfortunately only one is a Z but my AC30TB (90s UK Korg era) isn't likely going anywhere anytime soon. Interestingly enough, my combo isn't my "portable" rig (at 70+ pounds).
Go for it. Can't ever have too many amps. Or pedals. Or guitars.

I am going to tell you the truth, since no one else will: You are nuts and you don't need the combo. But should you get the combo and want to get rid of the head, would you be interested in a trade for a Hamer Monaco III?

How about just getting a really nice 1x12 cab to use with the head? It'll save you $1800-$2K? But if you have the extra cash, the combo is an amazing amp. But if I already had a head/cab, I'd get a 1x12 cab and a DB4, but that's just me

I had both for a while, John. I love the silver, so I kept the head/cab original Wreck and let the combo go to fund the Z-Lux. I do miss it every now and then. I'd probably get a 1x12 cab w Gold and use it with the silver head, like telejas suggests above.

Thanks Guys! Going to go with the extra cabinet and save some $.1 Too bad Doc doesn't offer a 112 to match the silver ZWreck set....I'd have bought one.
