I know there's a topic here somewhere about this already but I couldn't find it and impatiently gave up.
What's the verdict on switching from speed to comfort while the wreck is fully on or just on standby? Is it safe or should the amp always be completely off when switching between the two?
I'm gonna throw this out there real quickly as well: which is your prefered setting and why?

I believe Doc said somewhere to put it on standby.

I believe Doc said somewhere to put it on standby. Correct...put it in stand-by to switch. As far as a preference, I don't think you will notice a difference unless you are running the amp at a good volume. I keep mine in comfort. However, i suspect the difference between both is subtle.

I believe Doc said somewhere "Ken (Fischer) preferred the sound of [Comfort voltage setting], I liked [Speed] and Brad (Paisley) wanted both."
